A geothermal heat pump system is a central heating/ cooling system that transfers heat to and from the ground, using the ground as a heat sink in the summer and a heat source in the winter. Understanding the soil and groundwater profile is critical to the design of closed loop or open loop systems. CGCG can perform test well installation and perform thermal conductivity testing to establish the design parameters for closed loop system design.
